🔒 Our commitment: Nyxa is built with privacy as a core principle. We do not require personal information to register or pay. We never sell your data to third parties.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the Platform: Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your display name and optionally a profile picture and bio. An email address is only required if you choose email-based login — social login and anonymous registration options are available. Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Platform, including chat interactions, characters created, and features used. This helps us improve the service and enforce fair usage quotas. Payment Information: We process payments via cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, BNB, USDC, TRX, and others). We do not collect or store credit card numbers or banking information. Only the transaction hash is stored to verify and credit your account. Technical Data: We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, and device information for security, performance, and abuse prevention purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: • Provide and maintain the Platform's services • Process cryptocurrency payments and manage your account balance • Send important account notifications (e.g., subscription expiry, reward credits) • Improve and personalize your experience • Enforce daily usage quotas and plan limits • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or policy violations • Comply with legal obligations

3. Private Mode

When Private Mode is enabled, your chat messages are NOT saved to our servers. Messages exist only in your browser's memory during the active session and are permanently deleted when you close the chat. We cannot recover Private Mode conversations under any circumstances. Note: Even in Private Mode, usage statistics (message count, credit deductions) are still tracked for quota and billing purposes, but the content of messages is not stored.

4. Nyxa Companions & AI Memory

Nyxa companions build a long-term memory of your conversations to provide a more personal and continuous experience. This memory is stored securely and is only accessible to you and the AI model serving your companion. Nyxa companions may automatically generate stories and gallery posts inspired by your conversations — these are private by default and only visible to you. You can delete your Nyxa companion's memory and generated content at any time from your account settings.

5. AI Conversations

Conversations with AI characters are stored to provide continuity across sessions and to power long-term memory features. You can delete individual conversations or your entire account at any time. AI conversations may be used in aggregate, fully anonymized form to improve our AI models. We do not share individual conversations with third parties. Group chat room conversations are stored and visible to all members of that room.

6. Social Media Character Import

When you use the social media import feature (X, Instagram, TikTok), our AI reads publicly available posts and profile data from the username you provide. We do not store the raw social media data beyond what is needed to generate the character. The generated character is a fictional AI persona — it is not linked to or representative of the real person's account. We do not access private messages, follower lists, or any non-public data from social platforms.

7. Group Chat Rooms

Group chat rooms store conversation history accessible to all current members. Room owners can see all messages sent in their room. If you leave or are removed from a room, your past messages may remain visible to other members. Adult group rooms are restricted to Pro users only and their content is not indexed or made publicly accessible.

8. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including: • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) • Secure password hashing (bcrypt) • Regular security audits • Strict access controls limiting who can view your data However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use strong, unique passwords.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics tools. We do not sell or share browsing data with advertisers. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling essential cookies may affect Platform functionality.

10. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: • Authentication providers (for optional social login) • Blockchain networks (for cryptocurrency payment verification) • AI model infrastructure (for generating responses, images, and voice) These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. We do not share your personal information with these services beyond what is strictly necessary for their function.

11. Anonymous Payments

We accept a wide range of cryptocurrencies to protect your financial privacy. We do not link payment transactions to your personal identity beyond what is necessary to credit your account. No name, address, or banking information is ever collected during payment. Blockchain transactions are public by nature — we recommend using a privacy-focused wallet if on-chain anonymity is important to you.

12. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal data, conversations, characters, and generated content within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention or dispute resolution (e.g., payment records). Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

13. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten") • Object to or restrict processing of your data • Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format) To exercise these rights, please contact us through the Platform's support system. We will respond within 30 days.

14. Children's Privacy

Nyxa is strictly for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has created an account or provided personal information, we will delete it immediately and terminate the account. If you believe a minor is using the Platform, please contact us immediately.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes via Platform notification. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
